Time heals all wounds
Love shall be everlasting
Two hearts become one

Time heals all wounds
Love shall be everlasting
Two hearts become one
There is always flowing
a way to ourselves
the nature of being
like wings on the wind
Reminder of entries
into the world
where silence forgives
the questions beyond
A day in our dwelling
left lost in the light
what memories
live inside
these words
what feelings
lie hushed
under a morning
of new fallen
snow
slipping
through icy fingers
melting
in her mind
the way Spring’s
swollen streams
wash hilltop
tumble stones
into greening
valleys
maybe he
held her gaze
too long
in dreams
crystal eyes
wide open
where the heart
yearns to hold
onto colors
faded to black
and white
between sheets
of rain
and thoughts of
coming home

standing
at a precipice
we felt
the earth move
and there
among the clouds
we dreamed
things that mortals
seldom dare
unearthly visions
sank beneath the haze
sand slipping
into an ocean
of memories
lost in time
light filtering
to a seabed
waves (of emotion)
still flowing
even as the storm
has passed
and sails billow
again (reaching)
before a fair wind
how soft the leaves
fall in autumn
days growing shorter
colder
the wind moves north
and the clouds
fold under the sky
in shades of grey
long nights before us
hearts left lonely
seek a warm hearth
a fire inside (the heart)
blankets of love
blankets of snow
crackling embers
memories of summer
bonfire nights
fireflies
and longings
now come to pass
alone with this moment
the clock gives up
its hands
all that was
and ever will be
becomes present
sunset and moon rise
each breath is love
inward for-giving
out for the taking
emptied of all
we’ve become

Summer days waking the earth
Wind and fire rain upon the land
Will it find hope
extinguished with the flames
or Spirit rising with the wind
Is this the reason for being
For rising tides
and rainbows on far horizons
for beauty and passion
for holding onto life
Meadows fill with windflowers
Born by the light
of a distant sun
Whose love knows no boundaries
Embracing the oceans of time
Where do the songbirds go
When night falls
Do they fall from the sky
Does the earth gather them up
to rise again with the dawn
Do the wing-ed’s songs
Echo and vanish with them
Leaving the Nightingale
Alone – keeping vigil
Through the dark?
Are we the same
Do the dream worlds we visit
while sleeping
Become what’s the matter
with life
Or is life what happens
when we dream
Of forests whispering in the wind
and the snow that waits
Above the Tropic of Cancer

days are swirling
like canyon rivers
rushing from a storm
a thousand miles
of muddy water
silt settles in veins
of silver left for ages
in plain sight
undiscovered
why do clouds
block the sun
or blue swirls simmer
in shadows of a noon day
where love recalls
the weeping willow
and a riverbed
sleeping in the light
beside her
has the sky parted
or a veil of vapor
undone by the wind
left us alone
under its spell
holding our hearts
in the timeless dream
always tempted
to return to love
Flowers bloom
springtime yearning
Golden rays
of sun
turn the good earth’s
gardens into love
Hearts believe
thoughts deceive
and wonder
at the ways
Relations turning
ever after
all the times
we cried
Tears became
the sacred rain
to fill the streams
of life
Ever flowing
toward their oceans
where waves
roll ceaseless
still
Robins nest
as cherry blossoms
fill the seasons scents
Rising ever
life’s desires
long to feel
our joy

Dreams may come as the light in days
falls into darkness again
These rounds of heaven and earth
will remain a rising and falling
Creation
Let there be light –
Sunrise, the words spoken again
Forever echoing across the waters
Separating nightfall from day
Dreams departing
Entering new realms
Dew settles into the dawn
Thought made into words
Ringing in our ears
Awareness of present tense
A Song of Solomon
or Lucifer wielding his flame
What confluence of sounds
As the light bearer illumines the way
Knowledge of the fall
From grace what bliss had known
Gave up its heaven
For an earthly solace
Choice and reasons
Coming to be under shadows of the son
Enter life’s season
Living apart from the truth
Sense separates self
Light within darkness remains
Opposites seeking the center
